Family Happenings...

Well, fall is officially here in Fresno. I have not run my air conditioner for several weeks and the boys tried to get in the pool today, but it was just too cold for even them.
The fall schedule is also upon us, with soccer practices and games for Titus and Jaden, Karate for Jaden, AWANA club Wed. nites for us all, Bible Study on Thursday mornings, and 2nd grade homework! Gone are the lazy days of summer, but I am enjoying the fact that the kids are busy, having fun and crash by 8:00 most nights!
Titus and Noah go to Kiddie Kareland 2 days a week so I can get my paperwork done for work and do my grocery shopping, etc. done without all the kids in tow. This month, their preschool had a "grandparent breakfast", where Titus and Noah proudly showed off their grandparents. (Noah also recently potty trained himself...Yeah!)
Aislynn is growing like a weed. She has such a happy, flexible personality, and she is giving me pretty good sleep at night now. I've decided she can stay. :) Noah, on the other hand, had a "jealous of my sister" moment the other day. I found him in Aislynn's crib jabbering nonsense words and sucking on a pacifier. Maybe he just realized that I stole his crib for his sister????

Aislynn (6 weeks)

Our friend Mariano took thes pic's of our cutie at 6 weeks old. I love them!

Boys 'n' forts

For $5 at a yard sale, I bought the kids an IKEA table with adjustable legs, which can either be a kid-height table or a tall table suitable for bar stools. I got the table because Jaden had been wanting an art/game table, and I thought this one would be perfect (and the price was right!). Well, when I brought it home, the boys had another idea...& the table was transformed into a pirate ship...they slept on their ship for 2 nights in the living room before their mean mommy made them move it to their room (where now it combines with the bunk bed as a "super-fort". 'Ya gotta love boys and forts!

Great-Grandparents Visit

We had some special visitor the week after Aislynn was born...Jeremiah's grandparents and Aunt Vicki and cousin Zach came out from Jackson, Mississippi to see their new Great-granddaughter. It was fun to have them for a week, and we got some precious multi-generational pictures! Jeremiah's sisters Micah and Lydia also came from the bay area to cuddle and snuggle their neice...What fun to see everyone!

We're Back!

Sorry for the lack of posts. My trusty computer crashed on me, and for the price of half a month's groceries I have a new hard drive and am back on the information highway! Aislynn is now 7 weeks old and is starting to smile a lot! She was 10 pounds, 2 oz's at her 5 week appointment. Oink! Oink! I am having so much fun with her...What a blessing from God she is. Jaden also started 2nd grade this month. He has a great teacher, and he is enjoying being back into a routine. By the way, if anyone would like to buy an Entertainment Book, let me (or Jaden) know...that is, if you don't have kids of your own who are selling them to raise money for their schools! Kind of a nice way to support the public schools, and only $25! OK, OK. Enough advertising....Enjoy these pic's!
