Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...Maybe it's the food, or the fact that it's so non-commercial. But by far, my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is just being with family. It's always a great family photo opportunity too! We did Thanksgiving dinner with my side of the family the night before at my place....Then we had dinner with the Morris side of the family ON Thanksgiving...It was good to have everyone together. This is Aislynn's first Thanksgiving...some said she LOOKED like a Butterball!!!!!!!!!!!!!





We also celebrated Steve's b-day before Micah and Lydia had to go back to the Bay Area (he was born ON Thanksgiving -- years ago...Happy B-day Steve!!!!)

AWANA Grand Prix

This Wednesday was Jaden's 3rd annual AWANA Grand Prix. G'pa Steve helped Jaden cut, sand and paint his car red...he even had cool racing flames on the sides! Jaden's car got 1st place in the first heat. Then he got 2nd place in the next 2 heats! This was Jaden's best race yet!

These Portraits are made with love and joy. Aislynn's smile is a sweet family treasure. It the first painting, I used lace and ribbon, precious girly decorations to create texture. In the second, Aislynn's golden color and arch over her head show how special she is to our family. I posted these small paintings here because they do not belong. They are photos of paintings,not photos of family. In the past painting was "replaced" by photography, here I replace photos with paintings.

Family in the Fall

Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year! The weather is cool and the trees begin their Broadway show of brilliant color. The kids enjoy making piles of leaves to jump in, and pictures just can't look bad with God's beautiful backdrop.
